| My Taiwan Record |
I got to say, this holiday of mine is really fruitful. Being able to travel to so many different countries=) However school is starting soon~ So this is my last post till my next holiday=(
This time round i went to Taiwan!!! Yes TAIWAN!! The country that is popular for it delicacies=)
Being a food lover, watching all the food variety shows makes me more eager to get here sooner!
So here i am in taiwan. Arrived at Tao Yuan airport was hoping to be welcome by the awesome
weather. Sadly, My family and i went at the wrong period of time. We
went at the thunderstorm period of some of our plan got cancelled like
going Beitou for hot spring. So we ya, we took a bus for tao yuan
airport to go to taipei main station as cabs there are really
expensive=( You can buy a bus ticket at the basement level for 90NT,
We then took subway from Taipei Main Station to Jian Tan station where our hotel is located at. Our hotel is called Star Beauty hotel walking distance from Jian tan station, located at Hougang street=) Around our hotel there is plenty of food stalls and i mean tasty food stalls, 24 fruit stall, 3-4 mini marts.
And this is how our hotel looked like (Family suite= free wifi):

Went for breakfast as soon as we checked in. Had lunch at yummy stall near our hotel before beginning our trip.

Day 1 -> Was on our way to Formosa Water Amusement park by Taking Red bus 22 from dan shui station . Unfortunately, It started to rain heavily and we can't play there anymore hence we went back to hotel to rest and wait for the rain to get smaller before going out again.
At Night, We went to Shi Lin Night Market despite the rain. The rain definitely didn't stop my craving for food there. And i brought The famous Ah Zhong Mee Suan, Da chang bao xiao Chang, Lu wei and of course O' a' qian~=)
Day 2 - We went to wu fen pu to shop, to go there you have to take subway to Houshanpi station and then walk a short distance before you get there. The people are are really nice, so if you can't find your way feel free to ask them=)

At night , we went to Raohe Night Market, further down of wu fen pu! The food there is amazing and its really nice to walk there=)

Day 3 - Shopping around Metro underground mall at taipei main station. Then went to shin Kong dept store to shop further. Went back to hotel around 3plus when it started raining~
Went to Long Shan Temple at night Located at long shan temple station and then walked around Hua xi night market with my brother when my parent went for massage. I wouldn't recommend this night market as i personally got very spooked by it. They sell lot of exotic animal food. Like snake venom as wine and snake meat blah blah.

Day 4 -If you would love to know about taiwan history then you should visit here. SUN YAT SEN Memorial hall Located at SUN YAT SEN Memorial station. And Chiang kai shen Memorial at Chiang kai shen Memorial station then there is a market area around Chiang kai shen Memorial station that sell some of their local delicacies that you can buy back home.=) and you MUST MUST walk further down to try their ru rou fan there!!! All the food u see below can be found in the stall and u definitely must try!!!
Day 5- Jiu fen pu!~ Take to Taipei Main station to change to the railway station and buy a railway ticket to Rui fang (* buy one way ticket!!!) approach the staff if you have trouble with it=) You can also purchase a lunch box within a station itself. Then take any bus to jing gua shi!! alot of tourist will be alighting there.=) You must definitely try their yu yuan ping there!! DUPER AWESOME, i even pack some back to the hotel hehe. And also visit sophistica, its a store that sell really special stuff like chocolate condom (*chocolate is better then sex) and cotton candy pads and more.

Went to Shi Da night market at night to have our dinner located at technological building station=)
Day 6- Dan shuei and Yu ren ma tou~=) located at dan shuei station=) To go to yu ren ma tou take ferry there for 100NT. Ticket sold at danshuei=) Yu ren ma tou is a place that couple should really visit=) you can hang you love quotes there and also ring the lovers bell=) Singles can also enjoy the beautiful scenery there~
Went back to hotel around 4 plus and had tea break at a handmade noodle stall just infront of our hotel. Had been going to this stall frequently just to eat his guo tie and dumplings=) If you stay in the hotel i am staying at, you mut really try their stuff=)
Went to Tong Hua Night Market at night located at Liu Zhang Li Station(brown line),tried their xia ren feng li qiu there its really tasty=) But the weather there was really really bad so we can't find much stuff and decided to go back to shi lin to grab all my favourite food one last time. and my brother finally went to queue up for the giantic chicken chop since it was our last day there=) *he really hates queueing!!=p and i played some of the roadside stall..those childhood memories!!! HAHA~>.<

Day 7 - Home Sweet Home=) I would suggest that you buy some food to munch in the airport as there is only one restaurant there and its pretty crowded=) You can contact this uncle @ 0937929929 (*taiwan local number) for a cab to the airport at 1000NT~=)
